- Sarah Rose had a previous marriage or relationship [before marrying her half first cousin Wiley Walker] - we're not quite sure which since both Madison County Arkansas and Taney County Missouri marriage records were lost to courthouse fires. Family oral tradition confirmed by recent DNA evidence from a descendant of her oldest son confirms that Greenberry Walker was not the child of Wiley Walker. A daughter presumed to have been Greenberry's sister died as a child.
