- 2012, from daughter Isabelle: I have the sad news to tell you that my mother passed away on July 16th, after being in the hospital only 10 days. She was a woman of great courage, and had end stage, terminal courage, and nobody knew it. When she could bear the pain no longer my niece took her to the hospital. I am very sad to tell you this news, but am so glad I came to Vancouver in May as we had the most lovely visit of our lives since I was a teenager.
