Through research I have found Andrew Hicks and his family on both the 1840 US Federal census, and the 1850 Federal census.
His eldest son- John B. Hicks stayed in Ontario, Canada. He is the one I am related to.
His other children went to Ohio with their father. They were: Andrew Baker Hicks 1824-1865; William Reed Hicks 1826-1876;
George Congdon Hicks1832-1915; Elizabeth Hicks1834-1899; Dr. Thomas F.Hicks 1838-1881.

Caption for photo (stone eroded): Andrew B. Hicks, Died 26 Jan 1865, aged 41 years, as recorded in Cemetery Records of Knox County Vol.2, 1992. The stone appeared to me as "A. B. HICKS - DIED - Jan. 26, 1867 or 1869 - AGED 41 or 71 Years. I could be wrong and the book has been wrong many times over. I checked and Andrew is not in the obituarys or death records of Knox County, Ohio.
On 25 Apr 1821 when Andrew was 26, he first married Elizabeth BAKER in Jacobstow, Cornwall, England. Born ca 1794 in Jacobstow, Cornwall, England. Elizabeth died in Jacobstow, Cornwall, England, on 19 Mar 1831; she was 37.

- according to an Ancestral File submissions 16T1-CB4 and 3212-JNH and 3VMV-4H7:
Mariah Congdon born 14 Dec 1794, married 9 Feb 1832, died 30 Apr 1857, and had 3 children: George Congdon Hicks (10 Nov 1832 - 14 Nov 1915), Elizabeth Hicks (3 Aug 1834 - 8 Dec 1899) and Thomas F Hicks (13 May 1838 - 17 Nov 1881) - another version has a 4th child George S HIcks (1844-21 Sep 1879), although that would make 2 George’s in the family which probably isn’t right. The first 2 children were reportedly born in Jacobstow Cornwall England, with Thomas born in Danville OH in 1838 as was the 2nd George.

RESEARCH NOTES
- According to another researcher: “there were two William Berrimans in Launcells at that time. One was a tailor born around 1793 - this one married Grace Hicks, and the other was a blacksmith born around 1799, who married Ann Lyle.”
“The [older] William Berriman … appeared in the Launcells 1841 census at the same time as the other William Berriman (b.1799) who was a blacksmith and farmer and lived at Hersham.  According to the 1841 census,  William Berriman, the father of Mary Grace and Thomas Hicks Berriman, was born around 1793 outside of Cornwall. … Grace [was] not present in the 1841 census. Mary Grace Berriman is there, listed as Grace, although her age is a little off. (should have been 17 [instead of 15]). ...  Despite the poor spelling of many terms in the census, this has the correct occupation and address for William Berriman.”
Adding to the confusion, both Williams appear to have named a daughter Mary Grace (one in 1823 who was called Grace,  the other in 1832 who was called Mary).  Bad enough that they both lived in Launcells!
