On 25 Jan 1854 when James was 26, he married Sarah Jane GLOVER , daughter of William GLOVER & Mary YEO (-1885), in Port Hill, Prince, PEI, Canada. Born on 23 Apr 1834 in Kilkhampton, Cornwall, England. Sarah Jane died in Port Hill, Prince, PEI, Canada, on 10 Jan 1912; she was 77. Buried abt 1912 in St James Anglican Cemetery, Port Hill, PEI, Canada.

- From another researcher: Sarah Jane Glover, born in Kilkhampton Cornwall England on 23 Apr 1834, emigrated along with her family to Northam PEI in one of James Yeo’s sailing vessels. She was tall and slim, had hazel eyes and brown hair. James Yeo met her in Northam and after an engagement of about a year, they married on 25 Jan 1854. James had a home in Port Hill where they lived until 1865 when they moved to Green Park (a home he built in 1865 in Por Hill). Sarah died 23 Apr 1834.
“Their first child was Charles Sargent, born December 15, 1854 and died Apr 7, 1887. Their other children were sons James, John E, Arthur, Collingwood and Herbert and daughters Edith and Jane. Son James died at the age of 35 from food poisoning (there seems to be a rumor in the family that this was deliberate poinsoning). Arthur and John E each inherited farms of over one hundred acres.
