Introduction
JOHNSTON FAMILY TREE

These pages document part of Terry’s paternal family history through his JOHNSTON line, going back as far as Richard & Christian JOHNSTON (3G Grandparents) in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. They emigrated to Ontario Canada about 1840. Richard’s eldest son James Elden JOHNSTON migrated further west to Vancouver British Columbia Canada sometime between 1881 and 1891. His granddaughter and Terry’s paternal grandmother was Daisy Louise JOHNSTON (1887-1961) who married Harry Eustace BOORMAN (1881-1951) in Vancouver in 1910. Research is ongoing.

The pages in this section are formatted as a standard genealogy Register Report, grouped by generations. Most names are listed twice, once as the children in their parents' generation, and again (with more details) in their own generation. For some there may be additional references or duplicate listings in cases of inter-family marriages.
