- There are a LOT of trees on ancestry.com that list Jeremiah as son of Robert and Margaret. Many list a birth date of 20 Apr 1679 Hampshire. A couple list his baptism 22 Apr 1679. A few mention his death 12 Aug 1719. Only 1 (Hall Family Tree 1 by sandbox123) mentions spouse Ann Huskill (16670-1718) married 1703, and children Jeremiah (1700). All reference other trees; no original sources.
- “Original” source seems to be one or more early trees on familysearch.org including Ancestral File Number 1GMZ-B1V submitted by sdenos3889246 and jpspicer197451 - SHIRLEY A/DENOS (2259175) DR. J. PAT/SPICER/ (2506662) :

- David Whittaker (1949) of genesreunited claims he’s a descendant of Robert Whittaker (c1687) son of Robert Whittaker and Margaret Lisle, and his wife Mary Sylvester (c1691), through their son Thomas Whittaker (1715) and Ann Leight (1718) - it seems that robert whittaker [jr.] can be placed in two different branches, but i am 95 percent certain that I am correct. their son daniel was given land in cheshire by john lisle.
