* Dwight Colwell Banbury 1899-1971 was born in Knox County and died in Highlands County Florida. The reason he lived with the Loney's was that his father died before he was born. in fact he died 31 days after he married. So Dwight was conceived during those 31 days and born in the following March. Later document details show that Ella & Judson adopted him and made him a ward of the court.
1900 US census shows Dwight C Banbury living with grandparents Leo Arnold and Lydia A Arnold in ED 62 Union Township Knox, Ohio [crossed out on film: Brink Haven, Buckeye City, Danville villages] [as indexed]:
Dwight C Banbury, grandchild, born Mar 1899 Ohio, both parents born Ohio [other Banbury’s including his mother Fannie Banbury are on same page]
Another relative reports: Dwight (who lived with Effie and Judson Loney) was nicknamed "Ted".  For some reason, he was largely raised by the Loneys.

- Effie was a truly staunch Methodist.  She was also big in the Women's Christian Temperance Union movement.  [Her grandson] remembered Effie looking up from the newspaper and exclaiming in near horror to Judson "Do you know that Mrs. Roosevelt was serving COCKTAILS in the White House ?!" [He] also recalls that Effie's brood of boys had a reputation for drinking.  No doubt it grieved her.  She did manage to drag her grandsons, my father and his brother, to at least one outdoor, tent-revival, fire and brimstone-type church meeting where the leader railed against "everything fun", as [one] described it.

RESEARCH NOTES
Compiled by other researchers:
- EFFIE PROPER BAPTISED NAME WAS ELLA - BUT SHE WAS ALWAYS KNOWN AS EFFIE ON HER MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE [2 Oct 1889] SHE IS SHOWN AS EFFIE R BANBURY … I haven’t found this baptism record, and an older sibling of Effie’s was named Ella, who didn’t die until 1914, so the name of Ella still needs to be verified.

"Charles V Banbury was educated in the district school at Harrisburg. He remained on his father's farm until 1896 and at that time purchased a grain elevator at Greer, Ohio, which he successfully operated for 20 years, when he moved to Danville, in 1918. He purchased the lumber and grain business of N H Hunter, and he now has associated with him in the business his son, Clyde Banbury. They also handle builders supplies.
