He was perhaps first married to Susan who died October 1651 and married Ann Row on her death? 4 sons listed with Susan: John 1644, William 1647, Richard 1648 and Robert 1650.
- another source says there were 2 sons named Robert, with both living to adulthood !?!?:

RESEARCH NOTES
- There are 2 different John Boorman individuals in this tree, both either born or christened on the same day in 1644 in Cranbrook Kent, but each with different parents (as reported by different researchers). Was he the son of Robert and Susan Boorman OR of William and Rebecca (Waterman) Boorman (who would have been married for 20 years in 1644). Both can’t be right so this needs further investigation. Can’t find the baptism entry.
- According to another tree on ancestry (unsourced), he was born 1644, died 1681 [rather than 1678], and married Susanna Joy (1640-1686). They had at least 2 children: Mary Boorman (1659- ) and Richard Boorman (1661-1743) who married Mary Atkins (1646-1691) who in turn had a son John Boorman (1688-1775) who married a Jane Turner. John and Jane had a son John (1717- ) and William Boorman (1723-1802) who married a Sarah A M J Cheany (1733-1772) [I think it was this William Boorman who wrote a simple will in Cranbrook in 1802 leaving his estate to his wife Sarah and appointed Sarah and his son Luke and Joint Executors.] This Pettet tree says Wm and Sarah had a daughter Jane Boorman (1754-1842) who married a James Pratt (1759-1829)
