Richard Roscoe Pickens, a retired farmer, died at his home on E. Bellville St., Wednesday April 8th. He was 73 years old. Coroner H.F. McKinney said death was due to a heart attack. Son of the late Israel Pickens and Mary Jane Boyd Pickens, his wife Minnie, had preceded him.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Earl Walker of DeBary, Fla., and Mrs. Charles Washer, Smithville, Tenn.; a sister, Miss Escol Pickens; a brother, Everett Pickens.
