- John Boorman was christened 25 Mar 1603/4 in Hawkhurst, Kent, England.
- John (baptized 25 March 1603/4; probably buried 20 May 1610 or 27 November 1621)

- Catherine Boorman was christened on 13 Jul 1606 or 19 Oct 1606 in Hawkhurst, Kent,England.
William BOORMAN (John3, Thomas2, John1).
Born in 1611 in Hawkhurst, Kent, England. Christened on 2 Jun 1611 in Hawkhurst, Kent, England. William died in Hawkhurst, Kent, England, in Mar 1665/6; he was 55. Buried on 23 Mar 1665/6 in Hawkhurst, Kent, England. Occupation: husbandman.
From other researchers:
- William Boorman was baptized on 2 June 1611 in Hawkhurst, Kent, England. He was most likely born in Hawkhurst shortly before that to parents John Boorman and Catherine Wood.
- He married Ellen Fowle on 1 June 1643 in Udimore, Sussex (now East Sussex), England. Udimore is about 10 miles southeast of Hawkhurst. Historical evidence has not yet been found that would explain why the marriage was in Udimore. Udimore parish register transcripts indicate that both William and Ellen were from Hawkhurst, and neither of them was born/baptized in Udimore. It is possible that Ellen's family was living in Udimore, but no records have yet been found that support such a theory. It is also possible that William's father, John Boorman of Hawkhurst, owned land in the Udimore area. Again, no records have yet been found to support that. William's father John also got married in Udimore in 1603. Online searchable land/tax databases don't go back far enough in time to find land ownership records in Udimore.
- William and Ellen had three children in Hawkhurst whose birth/baptism records have been found: twins John and Joan (born 16 June 1648; baptized 25 June 1648), and Elizabeth (baptized 20 February 1652/3). William and Ellen probably had other children, but so far their records have not been located.
- William signed a will on 18 Mar 1665/6 in Hawkhurst, Kent, England.
- William was buried in Hawkhurst on 23 March 1665/6, and most likely died very shortly before that. As William's will was made on 18 March 1665/6, it was apparently a true "deathbed" will, as William did not even sign it. Rather, it was made for him and signed by John Kinsly and Elizabeth Fowle (perhaps Ellen Fowle Boorman's sister or mother). The will was very brief and, unfortunately, did not even mention the names of William's children or his wife, who were his only heirs. Rather, "each of his children" received five pounds, and "his wife" received the rest of his estate. The will was probated on 13 August 1666 in the Archdeaconry Court of Canterbury. In the "Probatum" at the end of the will, his wife was identified by name ("Ellinor Boreman").
On 1 Jun 1643 when William was 32, he married Ellen FOWLE in Uddimore, Sussex, England. Born in 1623/4 in Hinxton, Cambridge, England. Christened on 28 Jan 1623/4 in Hinxton, Cambridge, England. Ellen died aft 13 Aug 1666; she was 42.
From other researchers:
- Daughter of Robert and Ellen Fowle
- 65. Ellen Fowle was born in 1623/4 in Hinxton, Cambridge, England. She was christened on 28 Jan 1623/4 in Hinxton, Cambridge, England. She died after 13 Aug 1666 at the age of 42.
They had the following children:
Elizabeth BOORMAN (John3, Thomas2, John1).
Born abt 1614 in Hawkhurst, Kent, England. Christened abt 1614 in Hawkhurst, Kent, England.
From other researchers:
- Elizabeth Boorman was christened on 4 Sep 1614 or 22 Sep 1616 in Hawkhurst, Kent, England.
