Alice married Jason BARBER. Born in 1804.

- Jason Barber was the son of Benjamin Barber (from Vermont, U.S.A. and Lurana Haskins,daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Haskins, residents of Wolford, Greenville County, Ontario Canada. He had two brothers, Benjamin and Joseph. Benjamin and Joseph settled in Wolford Twp, Ontario prior to 1797, land grants between 4 and 24 acres were being given to Loyalists coming from the United States. Benjamin is considered one of the founding fathers of Wolford and there is a Barber Creek in the Twp named after the family. Records show that Joseph was given 24 acres, which he had cleared by 1797 and held the patent in 1802. By 1820 he had a cemetery, a Methodist Church and a school built on his land.
