- George Garfield Married Margaret Fox - (George converted to catholicism to marry Maragaret the rest of the richardson family bar ours is Church of England). They had:
Eileen Richardson (1915-1921 (she had a whole in her heart a genetic defect)
Harold Richardson(1916-2002) - never married but looked after his mum till she died and was always our "uncle Hal" very much part of his brothers family. Harold and William (Bill) ran newsagencys together for over sixty years.

“In the 1890's and 1900's the club produced the following Victorian cross country and track distance running champions: Charles Herbert, Charles Bennett, Charles Suffren (also Australasian champion), George Richardson and Alex Richardson. These men and others helped the club become the first Victorian club to win the Victorian 10 mile CCC three times and hence secure for the club the magnificent Coldham-Cohen Shield, the club's most precious possession.“ It seems that current club running events are named in his honour.
