RESEARCH NOTES
- Another researcher lists her as Mary Warren Denman, b 8 Aug 1879 San Francisco, died 27 Jan 1966, and married Benjamin Franklin Cheatham II on 7 Dec 1901 in San Franciso - no sources -
- A different researcher says:
“It looks like James' daughter, Mary had two sons, Benjamin Franklin Cheatham III and William Denman Cheatham.  I didn't find any children from Benjamin III.  Benjamin and his wife died in 1966 and 1997, respectively.  I think I made a mistake by saying that William lived in San Jose.  I think he lived on San Jose Ave. in Alameda, CA.  It  looks like William had two children (another William and Lee).”
Abt 1908 when Mary W was 28, she married Major General Benjamin Franklin CHEATHAM Jr . Born on 20 May 1867 in Coffee County, Tennessee, USA. Benjamin Franklin died in Denver, Denver County, Colorado, USA, on 2 Dec 1944; he was 77. Buried abt 1944 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington, Virginia, USA.
