His wife Margaret was appointed as the sole executor of the will. John was a "yeoman" (a farmer who owned his own land). The references in the will to his children and grandchildren absolutely confirmed this Boorman ancestral line. Margaret Webster and John Boorman were married on 3 Jul 1722 in Boughton-Malherbe, Kent, England.
