From another researcher:
[Brothers] John and Francis went out to Australia ending up near Gympie Queensland.
Francis lived with Julia Maria Isabela Walford at Miva [Station near Gympie Queensland] and had 7 children from whom we decend - i have a copy of the birth certificate of Francis Henry Atherton - their first daughter was Fanny Compton Atherton. they came back to England after Julia's father died then went out to Kenya until about 1926. See portraits of Francis and Julia.
Francis Henry married Julia Maria Isabella WALFORD . Born on 30 Nov 1859. Julia Maria Isabella died on 16 Jul 1952; she was 92.

- Daughter of Hon. Lt. Col. (Major) Thomas Walford and Julia PIke. May have had sisters Kate and Bel?
Julia M I Walford is the Daughter of Thomas Sturges Walford and Julia Pike.
Thomas Sturges Walford is the son of Thomas Walford and Maria Sturges.
Maria Sturges is the Daughter of Willaim Sturges and Jane Binfield of Dathchet near Windsor.
William Sturges was a major share holder in the Bowling Iron works at Bradford. they started out as an iron foundary then leased the coal and iron mining from the residents of bowling Hall. they then bought the coal out right. finally they bought Bowling Hall. they seem to have been supplying to the government during the Napoleonic wars. after practically destroying the park around Bowling Hall through their mining and ironworks i guess that the hall was not quite such a dignified place to live.
They had the following children:
354ii.
355iii.
358vi.
