THEORY: Sarah Ann Cleave’s brother John never married, it seems, and left part of his estate to a Thomas Gilbert, perhaps a nephew? If the above Sarah Cleave married the William Gilbert in 1887 (age 31 if our Sarah) - could this family be found in the 1891 census?
