- Richmond Bay E. church records says Frederick G. Compton, St. Eleanors, m. Marie Victoria Munro, lot 16 on Sept 14, 1904 witnesses Leopold Compton and May Campbell, which as far as I can tell, could be either of the Munro sisters But looking on the 1901 census in lot 16 this is what I found, so I guess we must assume the first Victoria died. I couldn't find the family on the 1881.
- DEATH: age 26; tombstone gives dod as 01 July 1907, age 27.
RESEARCH NOTES:
Victoria Campbell and Roderick Monro had 2 daughters with similar names:
1) Victoria Mary Louise Munro, born 27 Oct 1874 in Georgetown PEI, baptized 21 Sep 1875... and
2) May Victoria Munro, born 13 Apr 1880 in Georgetown PEI, baptized 29 Aug 1880
Assume that the first one died young and the second one was actually Marie and she was the one that married Fred Compton.
