[Her son Bob Butt] met Ian briefly about 10 or 11 years ago and he pointed out the location of where [his] great grandfather, George Compton, had his farm - pretty certain it was on Compton Rd. [Bob’s] grandfather took over the farm upon the sudden death of his father, George Compton, in 1903.

If she grew the same type of flowers back in 1946, there should have been hollyhock, foxglove, pinks. I wish I could remember more of the flowers. I’ll have to ask my Dad if he recognizes the stove that is on the verandah.”
