649. Thomas AVERY (Sarah JENNER10, George9, James8, Mary BOORMAN7, William6, Robert5, William4, Alexander3, John2, John1). Born in 1801. Christened on 12 Apr 1801.
650. William AVERY (Sarah JENNER10, George9, James8, Mary BOORMAN7, William6, Robert5, William4, Alexander3, John2, John1). Born in 1805. Christened on 8 Dec 1805.
651. Sarah AVERY (Sarah JENNER10, George9, James8, Mary BOORMAN7, William6, Robert5, William4, Alexander3, John2, John1). Born in 1809 in Aldington, Kent, England. Christened on 25 Jun 1809. Sarah died in Bonnington, Kent, England, in 1890; she was 81.

From another researcher:
- She was born in Aldington, Kent. She was the third of 4 children I have found so far. She was aged 61 on the 1871 Census and aged 71 on the 1881 Census, living with William. She died in 1890 aged 80. The cause of death looks as 'ague'. The death was notified by Charles Boulding, son-in-law, who had married daughter Jane. 5 children listed.
On 12 Sep 1829 when Sarah was 20, she married William CHAMBERS in Aldington, Kent, England. Born abt 1806 in Newchurch, Kent, England. Christened on 20 Apr 1806. William died in Hurst, Kent, England, in 1885; he was 79.

From another researcher:
- Son of William and Mary Chambers
- He was born in Newchurch, which is the next parish west of Burmarsh. He was living in Bonnington when he married in 1829. I have now found the wedding on the Internet. There are no other Chambers or Avery weddings in Aldington. He is the only child I have found so far. He was shown as a labourer when his daughter Mary Ann was baptised in 1832. On the 1841 Census for Bonnington he was a 30 year old ag lab with Sarah, also 30 and their first 4 children. On the 1851 Census he was the landlord of Shepherd and Crook inn in Burmarsh; his age was given as 44. On the 1861 Census he was a farmer with 75 acres employing 1 labourer at Copper Hurst, Aldington, age 54. Daughters Jane and Martha were at home. Also there was Sarah Pittock, a 10 year old granddaughter, born Hythe, Kent. Kelly's 1867 directory for Kent shows Richard Gurr. Piddock, a witness at his daughter Mary Ann's wedding as the landlord of the Shepherd and Crook. The 1871 Census for Hurst has William and Sarah, with daughter Jane living at Postling Green, Hurst, [near Ashford] a farmer with 25 acres and 2 labourers. Presumably he had sold the inn and bought some land. The 1881 Census has William as a grazer, aged 74, in Hurst, Kent. Arthur Bunkell, a grandson was staying with him. He died in 1885, aged 79 and his occupation was given as independent. He died of epictarsis [?] and 'decay of nature'. The death was notified by Chas Bouldings, son-in-law.
They had the following children:
1050i.
1051ii.
Mary Ann CHAMBERS (1832-1875)
1052iii.
1053iv.
1054v.
652. John AVERY (Sarah JENNER10, George9, James8, Mary BOORMAN7, William6, Robert5, William4, Alexander3, John2, John1). Born in 1812. Christened on 16 Feb 1812.
