RESEARCH NOTES
- 2011 from another researcher - http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Boorman:
“I believed I am very distantly related to Jesse Boorman's wife, Annie Copping (1850 Smarden). I am not completely certain as the Coppings are an extremely difficult family to follow - there are an awful lot of them all living in the same area and they keep using the same forenames over and over again, resulting in cousins with the same names being born the same years in the same villages and it is a nightmare trying to sort them out. As it is such a distant branch, I have decided not to spend too much time on it, until I have sorted out closer links.”
- This Annie is ikely the daughter of Robert Copping and Hannah Wood. If so, was the sister of Mary Ann Copping, Elizabeth Copping, James Copping, Jane Copping, Hannah Maria Copping, Emily Copping, Sarah Copping, Peter Charles Copping and Esther Copping.
They had the following children:
Ann Selina BOORMAN (Louisa10, Thomas9, James8, Thomas7, William6, Elizabeth HAYWARD5, Margaret BOORMAN4, William3, John2, John1).
Born in Q1 1857 in Headcorn, Hollingbourn Reg Dist, Kent, England.
