- Her last name could be Barrett - a more common name in Kilkhampton, and some of the handwriting observed on census has looked more like Bassett (when it was really Barrett). However, both birth and marriage registration state Bassett.
- OPC baptisms only go up to late 1830’s in some locations, including Kilkhampton. Ancestry doesn’t seem to cover this area as well.
