- From "Notes on the Life and the Descendants of Thomas Boorman":(as of 1950) :
Frances Jane married William Ernest Byers, a dentist in Sydney.
She was a teacher and continued teaching after she married. They had 1 son, Geoffrey, born about 1914. Frances Byers and her husband both died some time about the year 1929. When Frances married, Mr. WE Byers was a schoolmaster but he afterwards qualified as a dentis by taking a dgree as Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Syndey University.

- From a great grandson living in Katoomba NSW in 2015:
“I rented the house that William and Francis built, the school house that they also built still stands 3 doors up the road. Their house is now 320 Katoomba Street, Katoomba NSW and the School House is on the corner of Goyder Ave and Katoomba Street, the pink cottage.”
“I have photo evidence with William and Francis standing on the veranda with the sign saying Katoomba Grammar School. There is also an article in the 1902(?) Mountaineer newspaper talking about the School opening,
I believe it was the first School in the area.”
- Google maps incorrectly identifies the pink house at 314 Katoomba Street as a B&B called the Gatsby (it should say School House). Street names are also mislabelled, confusing Katoomba St/Dr with Blue Mountains Drive, but Goyder is clearly labeled.
- Hard to see other house from the road: 320 Katoomba Street, Katoomba NSW 2780
In 1901 when Frances Jane was 26, she married William Ernest BYERS in Armidale, NSW, Australia. Born in 1873. William Ernest died abt 1929; he was 56.

- From "Notes on the Life and the Descendants of Thomas Boorman":(as of 1953) :
Mr. W.E. Byers was a schoolmaster but he afterwards qualified as a dentist by taking a degree as Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Sydney University, Australia. He and his wife both died some time about the year 1929.

- From "Notes on the Life and the Descendants of Thomas Boorman" (as of 1950):
Muriel Cecilia Cleopatra Boorman married Mr. Wynne and had 1 son Shellshear Wynne. Muriel was a clever violinist, and may have taken it up professionally. Unfortunately she developed pulmonary tuberculosis which caused her death in about 1917 when her son was quite a small child. I do not know if or when her husband died. Shellshear was married and is divorced from his wife, and as far as I know has no children.
Muriel Cecilia Cleopatra married WYNNE. Born ca 1875.
